Our website does not collect personal data, nor does it process any data for the reproduction of our content.
In order to be able to offer you a concrete overview, we provide you with an explanation in this regard with the following information.

In this privacy policy, we describe how we maintain your privacy and completely refrain from data storage so that the anonymity of our users is guaranteed.

There is no use of cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser when you visit a website. Due to our website not being dependent on cookies in order to function, this doesn't happen.

Trackers and more

Conexizan is not involved in the use of trackers for any purpose of profit, nor for analysis for constructive statistics and spying on the development of the population of our website.
From decisions we made in the early months of the creation of our website (our project “Conexizan”), we also stick to not implementing any advertising offers and sponsors on our website. We are also not in cooperation with any of the indexed search results and also do not provide these results for payment.

We, on behalf of Vormrodian Projects, oppose the unfair tracking of any private information of any Internet user for the purpose of logging social media profiles and any browsing activity. Privacy is a fundamental human right and must be respected.
Privacy policy of the XMPP server

Introduction

When using our XMPP server, we only collect necessary personal data so that you as a user are guaranteed the complete functionality of our server.
This personal data will never be sold or sent to third-parties.

In this privacy policy, we explain how the procession of your data happens and which configurations we have set on our server to ensure your privacy when using our XMPP server.

General information

General information on data processing

We have deactivated general log files on our XMPP server with the exception of error logs. The error logs do not include any personal data and are used to detect disturbances with our XMPP server.

Account data on the XMPP server

Sollten sie den XMPP-Server verwenden, werden grundsätzlich folgende Daten erhoben und gespeichert:

If you use the XMPP server, the following data is being retrieved and saved in principal:

  • Username and the domain of the server that's included with it.
  • Your password (in hash form, not as clear text).
  • Your contact list (roster).
  • Date and time of your last login.
  • Most recent presence information like status and status message.
  • As long as your client supports XEP-0313 - Message Archive Management and you use (activated) it, your messages are stored for 14 days.
  • When group chats are used, messages can also be archived for 7 days through XEP-0313 - Message Archive Management. This option is activated as default, but it can be deactivated for ones own group chat. Moreover, the last 20 messages of the group chat are being stored in any case, wherewith newly participating users can receive a short message history.
  • As long as your client supports XEP-363 - HTTP File Upload and you use it, transfered files will be stored for 7 days on the server. These files are stored in encrypted form only after you have activated encryption on your client before transmission, for the files can be stored unencrypted otherwise. In publicly accessible group chats, there is no possibility for encryption.

  • It could be that your client stores more data on the server, which are not listed above. Profile information (vCards), bookmarks for chats and similar can be included in these. It depends on the client, if the data is saved as publicly accessible or not.

    IP addresses are not being stored in any way.

    This data is being saved until you as a user delete it through your client or you delete your account from the server.

    Purpose of use of the data

    This data is being used for the operation of the XMPP server. There is no forwarding of the data to third-parties as long as the user of the service does not provide the data as publicly viewable themselves (for instance through a vCard). Messages that are send from a user of our service to a user of another federated server are also going to be forwarded to such server as data in conclusion. We do not take any responsibility for the way of data procession on other XMPP servers.

    Desweiteren werden die Daten für die Rückverfolgung von Missbrauchsfällen des Servers und bei der Problemsuche verwendet. Furthermore, the data is being used for tracing back situations of abuse of the server and for the search after problems.

    Change to our privacy policy

    We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services.
    You will not be notified of the changes and the new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit of the website as well as your continuous activity on our XMPP server.
